Sugar Withdrawal Tips

Stages of sugar withdrawal are shown here in this chart from Dr. Axe. Getting off sugar requires commitment, for sure, but there are things you can do to manage the cravings.

  1. Drink lots of water

  2. Eat protein with every meal

  3. Eat sweet veggies & Fruits

  4. Get good sleep

  5. Take low and no fat foods out of your diet (they load them up with sugar!)

  6. Keep moving

  7. New post-meal rituals
