Adyatmika Sakti ~ Power of the Self
“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.” ~ Marianne Williamson from A Return to Love
We all have the power within us to create the life we wish to have. It is fear that blinds us,that creates a dust on our perception that does not allow us to see what we need to do. This dust or maya, creates the illusion of being powerless. When we are able to clear our vision, to cleanse our minds, through meditation and spiritual practice we begin to see the steps that are needed to manifest our dreams. When we let go of fear - really let go - and trust in not only our own, but the power of the Divine, we begin to see which of our desires are actually the right ones for us. We learn to differentiate between material desires that do not help our spirit and those that are meant for us. We begin to recognize the difference in normal daydreaming and divine guidance that is always available to us. This is not to say that material comforts are not meant for those following a spiritual life; they are not, however the main goal and we need to ensure that we do not attach ourselves to them at the expense of what our soul requires on our journey.Allow universal consciousness to shine through you and and to light your path. It is within silence that we are able to truly hear and see what is meant for us.
