Thai Yoga Massage – 20 Hour Course


Note: This course offers continuing education credits for teachers registered with the Canadian Yoga Alliance as well as 10 secondary CEUs for MTANS
In this 20 hour course learn the basics of Thai Yoga Massage as well as a full 90 minute treatment! Offer the massage to family and friends or incorporate it into your yoga classes. 
Split into 4 five hour sessions (November 16, 17, 23, 24) this course will be offered over two weekends broken down as follows:

Day 1 (5 Hours)  November 16
Learn: 
Stances of TYM 
Touch 
Rocking 
Seated Treatment 
Supine Treatment 

Day 2 (5 Hours)  November 17
Single Leg Treatment 
Prone Treatment 

Day 3: (5 hours) November 23
Double Leg Treatment 
Arm and Hand Treatment 
Neck & Face Massage 

Day 4 (5 Hours)  November 24
Practice the Full treatment with Guidance 
Deliver a 90 Minute Thai massage

Fascial Release with Foam Roller

In this workshop you will learn what fascia is and learn a sequence of exercises you can do with a foam roller to release through the fascia, which is often behind the pain we carry in the body.

You’ll leave with a complete sequence and handouts to take home to continue the practice! A small group means lots of time to ask questions and get personal attention!

A course in Mindfulness

Note: This course provides Canadian Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Credits as well as 4.5 primary CEUs for MTANS

The one hour weekly sessions will explore mindfulness concepts and how to build more mindfulness into your daily life.
We’ll look at Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and how to use those tools to reduce your stress as well as Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy and how that might help chronic unhappiness and depression amongst other disorders.

This course is for you if:

  • You are feeling overwhelmed with all that needs to get done

  • You are feeling stress or anxiety

  • You want to engage more with life and loved ones

  • You want to improve your overall outlook

  • You want to learn mindfulness meditation

  • You want more control over emotions
